Real User Review: My First Try With Rampage Mode on the MP2

What I expected
MP2 is a real step up from the first generation, and not only in looks. It warms up on its own within about two minutes of switching on, and it has Rampage Mode, the feature I was most curious about. Rampage Mode changes the vibration pattern based on how you move: walking, shifting your weight, rolling onto your side, even tightening your muscles. I pictured myself wearing it around the house, cool and completely composed.

What actually happened
It was my boyfriend's birthday, so we decided to try it together at home. Confession: it was my first time wearing a toy while walking around the apartment. I thought I'd stroll from room to room like nothing was happening. That plan lasted about thirty seconds. I was shuffling like an old lady just out of the hospital, and he had to keep a hand on my arm. Once we slowed down and stayed indoors, Rampage Mode finally started to make sense.

What worked
Rolling over to change modes. Flipping from one side to the other was my favorite way to switch patterns, and it responded reliably almost every time.
No more clicking through modes. With an ordinary bullet vibe, one pattern for too long starts to feel kind of numb, and you're stuck cycling through modes on a remote. Rampage Mode changes things up just from the way you move, so you don't have to touch anything.
The noise wasn't a problem for me. Unless the room is really, really quiet, I could barely hear it.

What fell short
It has some weight to it, and it can feel like it's slipping. When you're up and moving, you may feel like it's starting to slide out. That's normal. The MP2 has a bit of weight, and gravity does its thing.
It takes getting used to. Moving around while it's switching patterns on you is harder than it sounds. My first walk around the apartment proved that.

How I handled it
Snug underwear or fitted pants solved the slipping feeling right away. Gently tightening my muscles also helped it stay in place, and it's one of the movements Rampage Mode responds to. If you've never worn a toy while moving around, try it at home first, somewhere you can relax and laugh it off.

Who it suits
People who get bored with one steady pattern and don't want to keep reaching for a remote or phone; anyone who likes a little unpredictability; and couples who want to try something playful together, at their own pace.
If you're new to wearing a toy while moving, be patient with yourself. Mine started with an awkward shuffle down the hallway and ended up being a lot of fun.
"I wasn't cool and composed at all. I walked like an old lady just out of the hospital. But rolling over to change modes? Surprisingly responsive, and genuinely fun."
